VEHICLES AND DRIVERS

 A. REGISTRATION
New or used means of transport must be definitively registered in Spain when they are intended for use in Spanish territory by persons or entities who are resident in Spain or who own establishments located in Spain.

 B. TRANSFERS
Change of ownership of the vehicle in DGT either by delivery to a buyer or direct sale between the owner and the purchaser.

C. DISCHARGES
Permanent de-registration of the vehicle with the DGT due to export or Community transit or voluntary temporary de-registration requested by the owner of the vehicle.

 D. VEHICLE REPORTS
Types of reports:

• Full report
• Report of loads
• Report of vehicles in my name

 E. DRIVING AND CIRCULATION LICENCES
Application for a duplicate licence in the event of theft, loss or damage to the original.

F. SANCTIONS
If you have been fined and you need to identify the driver responsible for the offence, present allegations and appeals, request a copy of your sanction files.

 G. REHABILITATION OF VEHICLES
Obtaining the circulation licence of a vehicle that has been permanently withdrawn from circulation and declared roadworthy.

 H. TEMPORARY PERMITS
These must be applied for in order to be able to circulate when the vehicle has been acquired in a province other than the one where it is to be registered or is to be moved abroad also for the purposes of its definitive registration, or when the vehicle is used to carry out tests and trials for research or tests with third parties interested in its acquisition.
